Magical Skies at Night
(30 points)
Where will I turn in my work?
-
Turn your final edited photos into appropriate period's "Magical Skies Night" folder on the Photo Server
Photo Requirements:
-
Use the two attached sample photos "Sky Switch 2", "Fireworks 17", "Fireworks 21", & "Star Sky 41" in the tutorial to create 1 final photo
-
2 of your own photos and 2 of the sky overlays from the attached Google Drive to create 2 additional images of your own using the tutorial below
Step-by-Step Instructions:
-
Look through the attached slide show and read through the tutorial below before beginning the assignment.
-
Follow along with the tutorial using the photos attached below called "Sky Switch 2", "Fireworks 17", "Fireworks 21" and "Star Sky 41".
-
When you are done turn your final photo in to the server.
-
Go take at least 2 photos of your own that you would like to replace the sky on. Any subject will work for this assignment!
-
Look through the Google Drive Folder of Sky Overlays. Find a different photo for each of your 2 final images. You cannot use the example photo below in one of your final images.
-
Using the attached tutorial complete magical sky composite images of your own. (PRO TIP: Open all of your photos at once in Photoshop and complete each step on both photos one at a time, before moving on to the next step. This way you only have to read the tutorial once!).
-
Turn your photo in on the Photo Server. Be sure to follow proper naming protocol so your file is titled "Last Name _ First Name _Night_1" with the file extension .tif
