Where will I turn in my work?

Turn your final 8 edited photos into appropriate period's "Dominant Color" folder on the Photo Server
Photo Requirements:

8 final photos submitted

One photo submitted for each of the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, & reflective materials

4+ photos taken at school using a DSLR camera

2+ photos taken outside of school using a camera, DSLR, cell phone, or tablet
Editing Requirements / Workflow - ON ALL PHOTOS

Proper Naming Protocol is used - Files have been saved with the student's LAST NAME _ FIRST INITIAL _ NAME OF THE COLOR

File has been saved as a TIFF

Photo is cropped to 8x10 or 10x8

Photo has 300 DPI resolution

3+ Adjustment Layers used on EACH photo

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Pay attention to the presentation in class or if you are absent go through the slideshow to look at examples of dominant color. Think about where you see dominant colors in the world around you. Are there certain places? Situations? Man made? Or natural? The goal of this exercise is to help you really start looking deeply and actively at the world around you. Where do colors stand out to you? Notice that each photo is dominanated or consumed by 1 and only 1 color.

Take photos using a DSLR at school with a partner.

Take photos outside of school on a device of your choosing.

Download your photos.

Put your photos through workflow.

Turn your photos in on the Photo Server.
